New National Databank

The National Databank will support 500 000 people with free data and minutes by 2023. Imagine a food bank, but without food, with only free data and minutes for people at the risk of digital inclusion.

The initiative is being led by a coalition that consists of charities, third sector organisations and the telecommunications industry.

The National Databank is accessible to individuals, charities and community organisations working to mitigate digital inclusion and organisations supporting people from conflict zones.

To be eligible, you have to be a user of an Online Centres Network. The Online Centres Network is a cohort of charities and community organisations with a shared vision of England and Wales where everyone can fully participate and benefit from socio-economic growth and development during technology adoption maturity and beyond.

For access to the National Databank, your organisation must support people with data poverty and digital inclusion and it must be a member of the UK’s Online Centres Network. Learn more about the UK’s Online Centres Network and join here.
